THA was founded in 2002 by Timothy Harris.
Initially specialising in carefully designed private houses, the company has expanded to include chateaux, apartment blocks and holiday complexes.
It has established a reputation for realising projects in particularly sensitive environments.
This includes Unesco sites, conservation areas, working with listed buildings and national monuments.
The primary tenet is that powerful architectural concepts can reconcile conflicting interests with diplomacy to produce highly responsive buildings. A deep understanding of the demands of all parties is the seed from which real architecture is generated.
The underlying philosophy of THA is the creation of a sustainable architecture.
Over the years we have developed project management processes which enable our clients to be fully involved and make informed decisions every step of the way.
Tim Harris developed a passion for Architecture from an early age and won a national design competition at 19. He went on to study architecture at Edinburgh University and qualified with an MA specialising in renewable energy and intelligent buildings, followed by a diploma in Architecture.
Tim has worked in architectural practices in Sidney, Belfast, Paris and London, before setting up his own in 2001.
He has run projects varying from hospitals and supermarkets to housing developments, as well as private residences with environmentally-friendly aspirations.
After qualifying in International Business at ESSEC Global BBA, Anne worked in leading Marketing and Advertising Agencies in central London, developing Strategic Marketing, Client Management and Business Management skills.
At THA she generates and implements the marketing strategy for the company.
The Client Services are developed with skills and processes used with top banking, consumer, charity and B2B Clients. This has developed a working method for THA that ensures the client is informed, involved and in control of the project from inception to completion.
The simplicity and clarity of which creates stability to enable sound decision making.
Nasir studied Architecture in The Netherlands.
His previous experience included BIM co-ordinator for Richard Rogers Architects in London and as a technical support engineer for the major leading architectural practices across Europe.
At THA he has introduced BIM (Building Information Modelling) systems and complementary software bringing the most advanced and efficient systems to the practice.
He has organised the computer network to enable working from decentralised offices and efficient interdisciplinary co-ordination.
Allan has extensive experience of working in London’s leading architectural practices.
As a senior design architect and technical co-ordinator he has worked on many prestigious projects including Kings Cross Station, Everton FC new stadium and large housing schemes and hospitals.
Allan has also provided support and technical design guidance to architectural students and for a period provided technical design and tuition to students at Greenwich University. He has mentored and supported students through their Pt3 Professional Practice courses.
We have developped a network of specialised partners, with whom we work on a daily basis. They are Chartered Géomètres, BIM Architects, Construction Consultants, draftsmen, etc.
This allows us to have the highest level of expertise for each given task in line with the project specifities and progression.
